Jim Talmadge - Daylily Expert Jim Talmadge is a graduate of the University of Georgia department of Horticultue, and he has also done extensive post-graduate work in Sales and Marketing.

Jim currently works as a sales representative for Bracy's Nursery and is a member of the Daylily Society, GGIA and the Hosta Society.

Jim also owns and operates Cashes Valley Growers. located in the northwest Georgia.

Jim knows the green industry like the back of his own hand. He has been involved in the industry for over 35 years. He has worked in all areas, from seeds and liners to finished products, and from production to management and sales.

Jim has also worked on both coasts, making his general plant knowledge expansive and diverse. Jim is an avid gardener and also has experience in landscaping. He has owned and operated a bare root nursery for seven years, producing liners of daylilies, hardy ferns, irises, and hostas for wholesale nurseries in the southeast.

Jim's nursery, Cashes Valley Growers is a family owned and operated wholesale perennial nursery nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded by Jim and and his brother Bill Talmadge in 2000, the nursery is backed by Jim's 35 years of horticulture experience and the rest of the family's enthusiasm.

Both brother's families work in the nursery along with a very experienced staff. This includes the kids, who are more eager to drive the tractor than do the weeding!

Cashes Valley Growers ia located in a particularly beautiful setting, in Cashes Valley, located only 20 minutes from the Cohutta Wilderness in Northwest Georgia.
